When a leader and employee create a development plan, they will need to access it regularly to review next steps, track requirements, and stay aligned on progress. Leaders can also use the plan to enter progress notes, ensuring updates and achievements are documented throughout the development process.

EMPLOYEES:

Employees will use the Development Plan tab on their dashboard to view their development plan

From there, you can click on the date or the eye icon to open the development plan.

When a Development plan is released to an employee, a notification email is sent and there's an alert in the alert box. When you follow those alerts, you'll also be brought to the development plan.

LEADERS:

Leaders can access development plans 4 ways. 1. through the alert they receive on their dashboard when the employee signs it; 2. The email notification when the employee signs; 3. from the team member info box on their dashboard --  click the "Plan" button; or 4. navigating to the employee's dashboard and clicking the Development Plan tab.

NEXT STEPS:

After reviewing your development plan, the employee will need to sign with their username and password. Once the employee has signed, then the leader can sign.

As the development plan progresses, it's important that the employee and leader document completed requirements in the Progress Notes.

Both leaders and employees can return to the development plan at any time to add progress notes or review the steps and requirements needed to stay on track.
